It was great to get a chance to talk to someone off the ship about what we have been doing and some of the really exciting things about our research, hopefully reaching a larger audience as well.
I particularly wanted to highlight how the passion and curiosity of the crew around us made all everything move smoother and helped us to stay inspired through the occasional long night (when being at the cutting edge of science started to lose it's sparkle).
For all that the science was exciting it's also worth hanging on to the end of the podcast to hear Carlos talking about being a chef at sea, cooking on a ship is a science in itself! And science doesn't run on an empty stomach!
